My photo
I live life enjoying as much as possible by enjoying the outdoors, savouring dinner with the family, having fun with friends, or seeing my little sister smile. I understand the value of a penny and that hard work pays off. I am very ambitious and driven and have set goals for myself to achieve. I can be very serious but yet I have a fun personality to have a good time. I feel that life is a huge journey and the key to a successful life is to live in the moment and not dwell on the past! i am an optimist. I'm a hopeless romantic and a dreamer. I love to just go outside and contemplate life while I feel the breeze in my hair and the sun kiss my cheeks! I hope to travel the world one day because there is so much beauty to see in the world. i get bored easily(something i'm not proud of). I am a huge roller coaster and adrenalin junkie and I just love life! i'm a great public speaker. i'm a person who tries to be the best i can be. :D i am also a feminist. a HUGE fan of oprah winfrey. lastly, i'm going to be a history maker.

When people say they are familiar with certain roads, are they really? Do they know the age of the trees by the side of the road? Do they notice the trees? Or is it just barren land? Do they notice the way the trees stand rooted day and night if they are so familiar with the road? Do they care if the leaves start falling? Do they weep for the dying tree?
Sometimes we are so familiar with a certain road in life. Your “been there, done that” moment. We’ve been there many times. It can be the same old, boring routine at home or a constant state of glory. It would seem like the road will always be there.  And when things start to change and we embrace it wholeheartedly, do you we remember our constants? Our ‘trees’?
When we’re finally out, do we care for our ‘trees’? They were our pillars of strength, our shade of protection. Do we revisit that that familiar old road? So my question is, is that road important if it is so familiar?
I would guess so, from my experiences and observations, if that road wasn’t familiar to you, you wouldn’t use it to get to your destination.
Take a moment in your life to stop and recognise those ‘trees’ in your life. Revisit your trees if you’ve reached your destination.
Heck, all this fuss over a road. To me, a journey is important. Remember, it is not where you are, it is how you get there.
